84; Ulverston Cons ‘A’ 28; ############################################## 75th Anniversary Charity Pairs This year the League celebrates it's 75th Anniversary, having been formed 80years ago in 1932, however the League suspended bowling for 5 years during World War 2, hence the 75th Anniversary. To mark the occasion the League are to run a Charity Pairs Competition. The Competition is to be sponsored jointly by the Vice President : Mr Derek Buck and the League Committee. A total of £750 will be on offer of which £550 will go to charity. Each team within the league will put a pairing in the competition. Pairs representing Second Division sides will have a 3 chalk start. Of the total fund £550 will go to charity; pairs who qualify for the Final stages will be able to nominate a Charity of their choice to receive money from the fund. The remaining amount will form a prize fund for the pairs reaching the last four. The draw will be made at the next delegates meeting Tuesday 12th June, when dates to play will be selected.

with the County Association Do you want to enjoy the game better? We are holding a Laws of the Game Seminar To be held at the Red River Bowling Club Thursday 12th. & 19th. July from 6.30pm.
